  • A summer in the Swiss Alps

    Dokumentation 2021 90 and 2 x 43 Min.

Between traditional alpine economy, ecology and tourism, climatic changes put people, animals and plants to the test. The famous-infamous Eiger, the Mönch and Jungfrau attract people from all over the world. Up here rises the Aare, the largest tributary of the Rhine, which feeds more water into the Rhine than the Rhine itself carries. From the Grimsel Pass to the North Sea, Europe lives from the water of the glaciers from the Bernese Alps. The ice masses are the source of life. But climate change threatens to dry up this source.
