LOTTE LENYA - WHY AM I NOT HAPPY?
The singer and actress Lotte Lenya is still one of the most important interpreters of Brecht/Weill musical theatre today. She was the wife of the composer Kurt Weill and fled with him from the National Socialists to the USA in 1935. After his early death in 1950, she became an ambassador and guardian of Weill's work. LOTTE LENYA - WHY AM I NOT HAPPY? tells the life story of this extraordinary woman.
